Monster Month continues with Frankenbabe! I gave her a bonnet from 1818 (hopefully) as a tribute to the original Frankenstein. :3

This is a replication piece I had to do for a class assignment. We were asked to pick a pencil drawing from another artist that we loved most and redraw it twice the size and then add our own personality to it to change it. I picked a pencil sketch in one of Jean Baptiste Monge’s books I own. I still adore the original pencil sketch waaaaay more than mine but I still like it :) I used Copics, ink, pencil, and drew it on Bristol. It looks different but the same, I changed the shape of her head and decided to focus more on her head gear with line variation and color.

My finished painting. Acrylic, watercolor pencil, metallic paint, pen, and gel pen on wood canvas. Gritty, colorful, and textured. She’s a little stiff, to be honest… :/
